How to get the nerd glasses reticle in VALORANT

VALORANTS Patch 5.04 unleashed a plethora of updates to the game’s reticle customization system. With the patch, players can fully customize the colors, shapes, and intricate patterns of their reticle.

The reticle customization options have become virtually limitless with the introduction of the ability to change the horizontal and vertical lines on your reticle independently of each other. This change makes VALORANTS reticles can be designed with more complex aspects than a traditional four-line reticle.

One of the trendiest custom reticle readers has been used in the new VALORANTS update is the “nerd glasses” reticle, which uses a series of shaded lines and colors to create a reticle that looks like a pair of glasses. In games, a pair of glasses will appear in the middle of your screen, resulting in hilarious images when you come face to face with other players.

Here’s how to get the nerd glasses reticle VALORANTS.

Reticle settings for the VALORANTS “nerd glasses”

The nerd glasses reticle went viral for the first time in a tweet from a VALORANTS content creator named Jioon. They linked the crosshair code they used for the crosshair in a tweet.

The reticle code for the original nerd glasses reticle is: 0;s;1;P;c;8;t;2;o;1;d;1;b;1;a;0.462;f;0; 0t;10;0l;14;0v;0;0g;1;0o;5;0a;0.308;0f;0;1t;1;1l;6;1v;0;1g;1;1o;18;1a; 0;1m;0;1f;0;S;d;0

If you prefer to create your reticle manually and change their specific details as you go, you can find the exact nerd glasses reticle settings below.

  • White color
  • Outlines (on) Opacity/Thickness: 1/2
  • Midpoint Opacity/Thickness (On): 0.462/2
  • Ignore Trigger Error Offers with Crosshair Shift: Disabled

The glasses reticle can be placed on agents at close range to make the character in front of you appear to be wearing glasses. Only two agents on the VALORANTS the team wears glasses: Killjoy and Chamber. Using the nerd glasses reticle on them won’t do much.

The nerd glasses reticle is impractical and probably shouldn’t be used in your competitive games. Still, there are worse ways to land headshots than by lining up a pair of goggles with an opponent’s face.
