Italian Scicon Sports has introduced new Aeroshade Kunken goggles with the option to repeat the brand’s logo all over the lens. We’ve seen similar repeating patterns on eyewear like Gucci, Fendi and Louis Vuitton, but not on cycling eyewear before.
“The single lens option features a Scicon monogram logo pattern on the exterior, taking the combination of sport and fashion to the next level,” says Scicon. “From the outside, you see the bold, bold monogram logo design come to life, and from the inside, it’s unobserved.”
The Aeroshade Kunken is also available in different lens color options without the logo pattern.

Scicon says its SCN-PP lenses are durable and will protect against high-velocity impacts from small stones and the like. The lenses are said to offer 100% UV 400 protection, which means they will block all UVA and UVB rays with wavelengths up to 400 nanometers (which covers virtually all UV).
The brand’s adjustable Flexifit nose pad and temples are designed to comfortably fit all face shapes. The nose is height adjustable, the idea being that you can adapt the field of vision according to your driving position, and therefore your head position.
The vents on the edge of the lens are intended to prevent fogging buildup.
Two-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogačar was first seen wearing the Scicon Sports Aeroshade Kunken when he took victory at Il Lombardia last year. Other riders will use the new model in the UAE Tour starting this Sunday (February 20, 2022).
The Scicon Sports Aeroshade Kunken is available in four frame color options: Carbon Matt, Black Gloss, White Gloss, Crystal Gloss.
There are seven lens color options: Multi-Mirror Red, Multi-Mirror Blue, Multi-Mirror Bronze, Multi-Mirror Silver, Photochromic Silver, Multi-Mirror Red Monogram, Multi-Mirror Silver Monogram.
The price is £160.
